Manual Barrel Valve

This valve has been selected for its dependability, reliability and competitive price. It offers full variability of flame picture between the pre-set high and low rates for the appliance to which it is fitted.

This valve is a multifunctional valve that is fitted with a piezo ignition so no batteries or mains power is required. The valve can either be fully turned off after use or left in standby with the pilot permanently lit.

BM 733 Manual Valve

The BM 733 valve is a high quality valve that is well known for dependability and reliability. It offers full control of flame picture between the pre-set high and low rates for the appliance to which it is fitted.

The valve can either be fully turned off after use or left in standby with the pilot permanently lit. The BM 733 valve is a multifunctional valve that is fitted with a piezo ignition so no batteries or mains power is required.

This valve is fitted as standard to a number of appliances or can be fitted as an upgrade, please see appliance details for valves offered.

Mertik GV34 Permanent Pilot Remote Control Valve

The Mertik GV34 remote control valve is a highly regarded, high quality, dependable valve that operates the appliance with the use of a permanent pilot.

The permanent pilot allows the appliance to be put into stand-by mode, ready to turn on instantly when required. However, the pilot can be turned off if required – especially for summer periods when the fire may be in standby for days or weeks at a time. The valve is fitted with a manual piezo ignition for ease of lighting

The battery operated handset can be used to turn the appliance on and off and control the flame picture; which is fully variable between the pre-set high and low rates for the appliance to which it is fitted.

The control system for the valve is operated using 4 x AA batteries whilst the handset uses 1 x PP3 9v battery.

Full Sequence Mertik GV60 Remote Control Valve

The Mertik GV60 full sequence remote control valve is a highly regarded, high quality valve. The GV60 automatically ignites the pilot and operates the appliance with the use of a battery powered infrared remote control handset.

Using the GV60 is simplicity itself and means that you need not worry about turning the pilot on and off as this is an automatic function of the valve.

Once the control box, which can be battery or mains transformer powered, senses that the pilot has been lit and is established, it will turn the appliance up to full to light it. From this position the user can then adjust the flame picture which is fully variable between the pre-set high and low rates for the appliance to which it is fitted.

The control system for the valve is operated using either 4 x AA batteries or a mains powered transformer whilst the handset uses 1 x PP3 9v battery.

Wall Switch Control

The Wall switch control works in conjunction with the full sequence Mertik GV60. The wall switch control is offered as an upgrade to the standard handset version and offers the same functionality.

Appliances with a Wall Switch control will be supplied with both the wall switch and a remote handset.

Detached Valve

Detached valves are ideal for Bespoke burners where it is impractical to have the valve fitted to the burner due to lack of space or for easier access for operation of the valve.

Where a detached manual valve is required, the BM 733 will be used. The valve is supplied separately along with both 4mm and 8mm pipe and a mounting bracket in order to fit the valve in the most suitable position.

The maximum distance for the valve to be mounted away from the burner is governed by the length of the HT lead and the Thermocouple lead for Natural Gas the maximum lead length is 900mm whilst for LPG it is 800mm.
